Copyright Notice

The following recorder sonatas have been transcribed down a minor third to allow them to be played on the baroque flute. The intention is to allow players of the baroque flute to use play-along CDs produced for the larger market of recorder players NOT to deny income for music publishing businesses! I have transcribed the music myself deleting editorial marks. The code was then compiled using a music typesetting program (abc2ps or lilypond), so the arrangement, transcription and typesetting are all my own property. As I own the copyright I can say you are free to download and copy this music as many times as you wish for your own personal use. Copying for the purpose of commercial sale is strictly forbidden.

To use these transcriptions you need to equip your computer with pitch reducing software to allow you to drop the pitch of a 440Hz recording by 3 semitones (for a 440Hz flute) or by 4 semitones (for a 415Hz flute).

The transcriptions are in PDF format, which should be straightforward to print out.
